Customer: Department of Infrastructure and Improvement of Chernivtsi City Council
Our team joined the project to completely reconstruct the building for those who were forced to leave their homes. The premises were zoned for the arrangement of rooms, the facades and the attic were repaired and insulated, new windows and doors were installed, and utilities were replaced. In addition, significant energy efficiency measures were implemented in the building during the reconstruction. In particular, a heat pump and solar collectors were installed, which in turn will reduce utility costs.
The modernized budget building has eight residential units with 16 rooms and modern kitchens, furniture, appliances and bathrooms, designed to accommodate approximately 51 internally displaced persons.
The reconstruction of the building was carried out within the framework of the “EU Support for Immediate Needs of Internally Displaced Persons in Ukraine” program, funded by the European Union and implemented by NEFCO.
